Christine Sherrod Champion

Christine Sherrod Champion, 95, passed away March 11, 2017. Christine worked as an Admin. Assistant for Dillon Supply Co. and the N.C. Dept. of Trans. Christine was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church, where she was secretary for her Sunday School class. There will be a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 14, 2017, at Temple Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Along with her parents Luther and Lizzie Tyson Sherrod, Christine was preceded in death by her husband Hubert M. Champion, Jr.; sister, Marie Braziel; brothers, Randolph, Hassell and Askew Sherrod. Survivors include her daughter; Angela Champion Buffaloe and husband Allen; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family. The family will receive friends and family Monday from 6 – 8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
