Christine Young Adams

APEX - Christine Virginia Young Adams, 97, passed away on Wednesday. She was born in Harnett County to the late Gustavas and Earlie Long Young. Christine is survived by her daughter, Kathy Adams Pierce (Glenn); grandchildren, Donald Pierce (Sonia), Christopher Pierce (Susan), Kelli Allen, and Ashley Pierce; great-grandchildren, Victoria Pierce, Parker Pierce, Preston Pierce, Ella Pierce, Thomas Allen, and Derrick Allen. In addition to her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Adams; two sisters; and three brothers. Mrs. Adams will lie in-state on Sunday from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. A private service will be held later.
