Christopher James Yahraes

January 6, 1998 — July 17, 2024

Christopher James Yahraes, 26, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. A native of Johnston County, Chris was the son of Pamela White Yahraes and the late James Lawrence Yahraes. Chris’s spirit left this world on Monday, but in his giving nature, his body remained so that he could donate and give life to others. Chris’s personality was always to be a giver and helper to others. He had an infectious laugh and smile that would light up a room. Chris had a goofy side as everyone knew, but was also dedicated to the business he created; Ultimate Fire Protection, INC. He was a devoted father to his children, Ryland and Oakley. Ryland wanted to be just like his dad and Oakley was a daddy’s girl. Chris enjoyed being with his family, friends, riding four wheelers, wakeboarding, snowboarding, boating, his truck, and spending his time on the lake. He will forever be in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 21st at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street Angier, NC 27501. The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Chris is survived by his children, Ryland and Oakley Yahraes; mother, Pamela Jean White Yahraes; sisters, Liz Masoner (Wayne) and Jill Yahraes; as well as several extended family members.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, James Lawrence Yahraes.
