Christopher Jeffrey Sutton

APEX – Christopher Jeffrey Sutton, 60, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022. He was born in Fordyce, Arkansas on September 27, 1961, to the late Gene and Neva Sutton. Chris was a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and worked for Nationwide Insurance for 33 years. He took pride in his work with Nationwide, as well as the work he did at his family home. He had a passion for maintaining his lawn and landscaping. Chris enjoyed being outdoors and traveling with his family. Football was a passion of his, so much so, that he would even go to high school games, home or away, just to watch his favorite teams. He also enjoyed his Harley Davidson and listening to The Rolling Stones and Elvis. His chats with childhood friends were always a highlight. Chris spent most weekends with the love of his life of 27 years, Camille, they spent those weekends together and enjoyed cooking and spending time together. In addition to his mother and father, Chris was preceded in death by brother-in-law, George Crump; and father-in-law, John B. Palmeri. Mr. Sutton is survived by his loving wife, Camille Sutton; two amazing sons, Alex Christopher Sutton, and Christopher Jeffery Sutton; sister, Vicki Crump; stepmother, Ann Sutton; mother-in-law, Sally Palmeri; brother-in-law, John A. Palmeri, and wife Sharon; nieces, Kinley Crump, Hayley Davis, Michelle Granucci, Kathleen Wojcik, and Jennifer Floriano; nephew, Colton Crump; a dear cousin, Candy Miller and numerous lifelong friends. The family will receive friends and relatives at Calvary Raleigh Church, 7900 Ten-Ten Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603, for a Celebration of Life, Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 6:30 PM.
