Christopher Patrick Barrick

On Tuesday, November 14, 2022, Christopher Patrick Barrick entered into his eternal home. A native of Wake County, North Carolina he was born on August 22, 1952. His mother, Elizabeth Staton Barrick, and his father, Dr. Harry W. Barrick Jr., preceded him in death.

Pat was a life-long Boy Scout. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1970. In 1971, Pat Barrick graduated from Fork Union Military Academy. Furthering his education he attended Campbell College. Afterwards he joined the United States Navy. He enjoyed his gardening and playing golf with his brothers. Some his best stories were about those golfing outings.

Pat Barrick was a member of Victory Church for the last 17 years of his life. He talked often about his faith and often asked his brothers to join him in Bible Study.

Pat was never married. He leaves behind brothers Harry, George, Jim, and Walter; and sister Susan Helms. In-laws include: Emily Barrick, Renee Barrick, Martha Barrick and Billy Helms, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service for Pat will be held at Victory Church, 2825 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, N.C. 27603, at 10:30 AM on the first of December 2022.

In memory of Pat, plant a tree and name it Pat.

Life is but a stopping place,

A pause in what’s to be;

A resting place along the road,

To sweet eternity

We all have a different Journey

Different paths along the way;

We all were meant to learn some things,

But never meant to stay.
