Christopher Shane Norris

July 6, 1978 — March 7, 2023

Christopher Shane Norris of Smithfield, 44, sadly left us on March 7, 2023.

Shane found his true love Amanda in Clayton, NC and they married March 15, 2014. He spent his most recent Saturdays watching his daughters cheer and play basketball. He worked at Buhler Aeroglide and was known as a Top Performer in his Sales position. He was a family man and enjoyed cooking out or having crab legs together. His hobby and most favorite thing to do away from home was being a part of his other family the DEM 2s Motorcycle Club.

Shane is survived by his loving wife Amanda Norris, sons Nicholas Wheeler of Clayton, and Jacob Elliott of the home. His daughters Alexandria and Sadie of the home. Parents Tony and Kim Allen of Angier, and Sister Shannon (Steven) Holland of Benson. Grandparents Roy and Margie Lassiter. Many nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, friends, colleagues, and a whole crew at DEM 2s Motorcycle Club

Shane will be remembered for being such a loyal person to everyone he knew. He was a great protector of anybody in his sight. He was a motivated hardworking blue-collar man and proud of it. He would accept you as you were and be the voice of calm when you couldn’t be. He was a jokester and enjoyed pulling a fast one. He was a jack of all trades; I can fix it guy. He was a helper. He would be the first to help even if he didn’t have the means. The word most recently used to describe Shane is SOLID. Shane loved to grill and cook. Chef Shane was known for his famous pecan pies. He loved the UNC Tarheels and watching a UFC fight. He loved a Sunny day and chasing the sun on his motorcycle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family.
