Clara Britt Holland

Clara Britt Holland, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday at Wake Medical Center. Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Henry DeLeon Britt and Clida Mae Davis Britt. She was a longtime member of Hayes Chapel Christian Church and a believer in Christ. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Hayes Chapel Christian Church in Garner. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Survivors include her son, Johnny Holland and wife, Carrie; sisters, Mamie Britt and Edith Britt and husband, James; brothers, John Britt and wife, Rena and Sherrill Britt and wife, Evelyne; grandchildren, Britt Holland and fianc, Ryan Schaefer, Kirby Stephenson and husband, Robert, and Tommy Holland; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Maddox Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Holland; sister, Annie Bryant and brother, Carl Britt. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
