Clara Jones Wray

Clara Jones Wray, 85, passed away Saturday. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, R.D. Wray, parents Jamie and Alma Jones, and siblings Linda Fuller and Millard Jones. Clara was the cherished mother of Sandra Allen, Roger (Barbara) Wray, Ronna (Barry) Jones, Donna (Rick) Gore, and Robbie (Carleen) Wray.  Clara enjoyed her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Clara’s siblings include Helen Pearce, Betty Lawrence, J. Y. Jones, Sarah Fish, Mildred Harris, Fay Rogers, and Jeanette Seefeldt. The family will receive friends from 12:30 -1:45 on Wednesday, November 2, with the service beginning at 2 PM, at Fellowship Baptist Church located at 5029 Old Stage Road, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Montlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the NC Alzheimer’s Association,  1305 Navaho Drive.
