Clare Louise Lavelle

Bunnlevel- Clare Louise Lavelle, 70, passed away on Friday at Duke University Hospital in Durham, with her daughters by her side. Born in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Harriet Avery Fraser. A celebration of Clare’s life will be held on Saturday, January 29th at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Clare is survived by her daughters, Lisa Marie Gilligan of Bunnlevel, Kristin Theresa Cardin and husband, Jared of Sanford; son, Gerard William Lavelle of Bunnlevel; grandchildren, Leah Cardin, and Cody Everest; sisters, Christine Fraser of Colorado Springs, CO, Nancy Iodice of Shirley, Long Island, NY, Mary Fraser of Beach Lake, PA; brother, William Fraser of NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Clare was preceded in death by her, sister, Barbara Duggan, and her mother-in-law who was more like a second mother and best-friend, Kathleen Theresa Lavelle. Clare was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her memory will live on in all of our hearts, and the stories we share. Try never to be sad when you think of her passing but be glad you got to enjoy the woman she was while she was with us.
