Clarence C. Nobling

Garner—Clarence C. Nobling, 90, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Coley and Ida Nobling. He retired after 40 years of service with Overnite Transportation. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Peggy Nobling; his daughter, Donna Wheeler (Jim); his son Tommy Nobling; grandchildren Kellyn Wright (Zack), Ginny Phillips (John Michael), and beloved great-grandchildren, Katie and Morgan Phillips, Maddie Grace and Colton Wright; Sister, Carrie N. Riddle. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by two infant daughters, two brothers and one sister. A graveside service will be on Wednesday at 10 am at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
