Claude A. Hedgepeth

ANGIER-Claude Allen Hedgepeth, 80, passed away on Saturday. He was the son of the late Tommie E. and Annie Lou Hayes Hedgepeth. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 28, at 5:00 PM at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, Angier. Surviving are his daughters, Luanna Hedgepeth Harrelson and husband, Carl of Murrells Inlet, SC, Mary Ruth Hedgepeth and Missy Hedgepeth, both of Angier; his loving companion, Ruth Wheeler of Willow Spring; sisters, Dorothy Matthews and Ruth Ann Lambert, both of Angier; brother, Elvin Hedgepeth and wife, Joyce of Willow Spring, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Smith Hedgepeth in 2001, brothers, James Hedgepeth and Roy Hedgepeth. The family will receive friends Saturday immediately after the service at the home.
