Claude Douglas Hayes

Willow Spring – Claude Douglas Hayes, 73, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Born in Raleigh, he was the son of the late Roger and Ruth Hayes. Doug graduated from Millbrook High School and served in the US Air Force for four years. He worked as a USDA Meat Inspector with the State of North Carolina. Funeral services will be Sunday, 11:00 am at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by the love of his life for over 30 years, Edna Stanley; his son, Douglas (Little Doug) and wife, Stacie ; grandchildren and apples of his eye, Cameron and Colson Hayes and Robin Stanley; as well as many extended family and friends. Doug was full of life. He was the backbone of the family and meant many things to many people.
