Claudia "Sue" Chandler

ANGIER – Claudia “Sue” Chandler, 68, passed away on Monday, June 5th at her home. Born in Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Marion Willis and Mary Faircloth Willis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 am at Genesis United Methodist Church, 850 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513.

Sue is survived by her husband, Robert “Tim” Downes; son, Everett “Wayne” Roberts and wife, Wendy of Zebulon; sister, Elizabeth “Dooren” Lee and husband, Charles of Four Oaks; brother, Marion “Fran” Willis and wife, Kathy of Lizella, GA; grandson, Jacob Roberts of Zebulon; and special niece, Jennifer Flood and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph “Robert” Willis.
