ANGIER- Clyde R. Ferrell, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, a few weeks short of his 92nd birthday, and 69th wedding anniversary. A longtime resident of Angier, he was the son of the late Floyd and Laura Ann Fish Ferrell. Clyde owned and operated Ferrell’s Jewelry Store in Angier for many years. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at the Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Clyde is survived by his wife, Eunice Newton Ferrell; daughters, Elaine Morris (Greg) of Charlotte and Lou Ann Estes (Dwight) of Oak Island, grandchildren, Colby Mills (Stan) Meredith Morris, Taylor Ferrell, and Kelsey Ferrell, great-granddaughter, Felicity Estes; and brother, Ray Ferrell (Edna) of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law, Ginger Ferrell. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his son, Don W. Ferrell; brothers, David, Theron, and Ralph Ferrell; sisters, Margaret Jackson and Leona Wimbish.
