Colin B. Robinson

GARNER- Colin Bailey Robinson, 71, passed away Saturday at his home. A native of Bladen County, he was the son of the late Timothy Robinson and Isabell Johnson Robinson. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The burial will follow at the Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Robinson; daughter, Kim Robinson of Raleigh; son, Gary Wayne Robinson of Littleton, CO; sisters, Beulah Johnson, Ida Suggs, Sarah Johnston and husband, Kelly, Betty Tatum all of Elizabethtown, Irene Alford and husband, Gil of Goldsboro; brothers, David Robinson and wife, Jean of Greenville, Daniel Robinson and wife, Marilyn of Elizabethtown; one special grand-dog named Sophie. In addition to his parents, Colin was preceded in death by his son, James Colin Robinson; sister, Nellie Tatum and a brother, Johnnie Robinson. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2418 Blue Ridge Rd. Suite 206 Raleigh, NC 27607 in Colin’s memory.
