Conly Morgan Stephenson

GARNER- Conly Morgan Stephenson, 75, passed away on Wednesday. A native of Garner, he was the son of the late Waverly and Cecil Stephenson. Conly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1964, as a member of the K-9 Corps. After attending cosmetology school, he spent many years as a hairdresser. He also worked in the insurance industry and manufactured housing industry for several years. An avid golfer, Conly enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his parents, family, and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 28th, 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. He is survived by his son, Morgan Stephenson and wife, Marisa Stephenson of Fuquay- Varina and grandchildren, Jordan, Emma, and Nico Stephenson; brother, Mike Stephenson (Jennifer); sisters, Sandra Diffee and Mary Jo Stephenson (Mark); brother, Richard Stephenson; Also, survived by special friend, Jean Daniels and by many nieces and nephews, Kim Brennan, Heather Gaydeski, Marshall Phillips, Owen Phillips, Duncan Stephenson and Joel Stephenson.
