Cora Faye Banks Batchelor

Cora Faye Banks Batchelor, 68, died peacefully Friday surrounded by her loving family. Born in Maysville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Cora Smith Banks.   Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Aversboro Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.  Surviving: her husband of 48 years, Durwood  J. Batchelor  daughter, Jennifer Dawn Batchelor Rogers (John) of Willow Spring; grandchildren, Piper Hales, Jordan and Dylan Rogers; sisters, Bonnie Favorite (Larry) of Mebane and Nancy Parker (Edward Earl) of Maysville; brothers, Raymond C. Banks, Jr (Ruth), Benny Banks (Joyce) , Larry Banks (Gail) and Jerry Banks  all of Maysville.  The family will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, Sunday 6:00 – 8:00 pm and at other times at the home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Aversboro Road Baptist Church, 1600 Aversboro Road, Garner, NC  27529 or to First Baptist Church of Maysville, 201 Main St., Maysville, NC 28555.
