Corene A. Girouard

Garner– Corene A. Girouard, 51, passed away on Tuesday at Johnston Health in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Washington County, Vermont, she was the daughter of Bill and Dona Fernandez of Garner. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In addition to her parents, Corene is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, David Girouard; children, Sarah Altman of Washington State, Joshua Girouard of Garner, Sadie Girouard of Garner; brother, Christopher Fernandez and wife, Kelly of Pennsylvania; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephew, cousins, and special friends. Corene touched so many lives and brought smiles to everyone who crossed her path. She will be tremendously missed by everyone who’s lives she touched.
