RALEIGH - Corinne Carver Nunnery, 85, a long time resident of Raleigh died Saturday at Rex Hospital.A native of Orlando, Florida, she is the daughter of the late James and Stella Mae Spence Carver.She was a active member of Temple Baptist Church for many years.She is survived by her daughters, Charlene N. Hay and her husband, Gilbert of Raleigh, Cindy N. Herring and her husband, M.J. of Reidsville, NC; two grandchildren, Drew Herring and wife, Jenny of Charlotte and Anna Herring of Chapel Hill: step-grandchildren, Ginny Hay Zimmerman and husband Will, Turner Hay, and two nieces and three nephews.In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Nunnery in 2009 and brothers, James Carver, Lewis Carver, and Eugene Spence.A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 21st at 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd. Raleigh.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 pm and at other times at 1054-103 Washington St. Raleigh, NC 27605. Burial will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either, Temple Baptist Church, -Triple S Club, 1417 Clifton St. Raleigh, NC 27604, or The American Heart Association, 3131-100 RDU Center Drive Morrisville, NC 27560.
