Daisy Miller Lowery

Raleigh- Daisy Miller Lowery, 84 of Raleigh went home to her Lord with her husband holding her hand on Friday morning. Daisy was born in Johnston County to the late Emery Miller and Vera Lloyd. She was also predeceased by her second father, Robert B. Lloyd, her second mother, Elwood Miller, and her special sister-in-law Faye Miller. Daisy loved her family, her church and her friends, and enjoyed expressing her love through cooking and doing for others while she was able. Daisy is survived by her loving and caring husband of 64 years, James H. Lowery; sons, Ken and wife Virginia of Raleigh; Chris and wife Nancy of Indian Trail. Also missing her are her grandchildren, Valerie Leary, Jessica and Christopher Lowery; great grandchildren, Grayson, Holt and Daisy; and her two loving brothers, Stacey and Ida Miller; Emery and Sally Miller; along with many special and loving nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 24th at 11 am at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 4900 Kaplan Drive, Raleigh, 27606. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the Church. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Memorial contribution to Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church.
