Daniel Danny Durham, Jr.

Garner - Daniel Danny Efland Forrest Durham, Jr., 59, died Thursday at his home. Danny was a volunteer fireman with the Garner Volunteer Fire Department, having served for 19 years and received the status of Honorary Fireman. He is the son of Daniel Durham, Sr. and the late Mildred Cates Durham. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Sunday at Highland Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Connie Holleman Durham; father, Daniel E. Durham, Sr. of Garner; daughter, Danielle Durham of Smithfield and fiancé, Thomas Kelly; son, Danny Durham, III of Garner and girlfriend, Jennifer Watkins; sister, Lisa Durham Benz and husband, John of Garner; brother-in-law, Walter Holleman and wife, Sandra of Raleigh; niece and nephews, Chris Howell and wife, DeAnn, Alan Holleman and wife, Dena and Jacquie Holleman; great nieces, Charissa Howell and Bailee and Kamryn Holleman. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
