Daniel J. Forrest

ANGIER, NC – Daniel J. Forrest, 78, died Wednesday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Born in Everett, Massachusetts, Daniel was the son of the late John Albany Forrest and Marion MacDonald Forrest. Dan was an avid hunter for many years and enjoyed country music for much of his life. He was a wonderful man with a fantastic sense of humor who impacted the lives of anyone that met him. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier with a prayer service taking place at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Townsend, MA. Daniel is survived by his wife of 31 years, Helen Brough Forrest; daughters, Cheryl Dubois and husband, Rock of Townsend, MA, Cindy Laurin of Townsend, MA, Paula Nash and husband, David of Townsend, MA, Debra Brooks-Hayes and boyfriend, Ronald Wright of Hudson, MA; sons, John Forrest and wife, Monika of Lunenburg, MA, Daniel Ward Dubick and wife, Debra of Framingham, MA; sister, Marion Frances Sweeney of Lowell, MA; brothers, Edwin Forrest and wife, Elizabeth of Clayton, NC, Paul Forrest and wife, Gail of Wilmington, MA, John Forrest and wife, Roberta of Venice, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Ravellette, Alice Ravellette, Samantha Nash, Michael Nash, Danielle Martinez, Kyle Forrest, Garrett Forrest, Brittney McCue, Elizabeth Dworkin, Victoria Brooks, Jake Hayes and Ben Hayes; as well as many great grandchildren with more on the way. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Ravellette; sons, David Dubick, Douglas Dubick; his first wife, Alice Forrest; and son-in-law, George Laurin.
