Danny Clarence Johnson

Garner – Danny Clarence Johnson, 70, was called to be with the Lord on February 5, 2023. Danny was born May 26, 1952 to the late James Cleo and Doris Johnson.

Danny retired from the Department of Correction in 2004. Danny loved people, he loved his family dearly, and he loved the Lord above all else.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Teresa Gail Johnson, his brother Fred Johnson and wife Jane Johnson of Durham, NC, brother-in-law Taylor Woolard and wife Wanda Woolard of Knightdale, NC, son Carey Johnson and wife Angie Johnson of Willow Springs NC, daughter Portia Sellers and husband Adam Sellers of Bolivia, NC.

Grandchildren Chase and Chloe Johnson, Addison and Easton Sellers, and Taska Cavenaugh.

Nephews, James, Keith and Craig Johnson, Clint and Travis Woolard.

A graveside service will be held Thursday February 9, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Pinecrest Memorial Park at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, NC. There will be a brief viewing from 1:30PM - 2:00PM at the graveside.
