Danny Earl Alford

On September 16, 2019 at 6:35 pm, Danny Alford became a complete person in the presence of God. He struggled for many years with many ups and downs. He won a lot of battles and was able to overcome many obstacles in his life. He is now victorious. He taught us many valuable lessons about the importance of living life to the fullest and the importance of family and friends. He loved family, church, his animals and UNC. He is an example of tenacity. “He never gave up!” He’ll be missed for a short time but those who knew him and are prepared will see him again. We love you Danny. Surviving are his wife, Janet Smith Alford; father, William Alford of Wake Forest; mother, Nancy Wilson of Selma; brother, Ray Wilson and wife Tracy of Willow Spring; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at McCullers Community Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to McCullers Community Baptist Church, 133 Rand Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
