Danny Ray Carroll

Cary- Elder Danny Ray Carroll, 69, passed away at home on Sunday, September 15th. Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Donnie Carroll and Hilda Partin Carroll.

Danny retired from Lord Corporation after a long career as a Senior Technologist. He enjoyed spending time visiting loved ones, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and bird watching. His hobbies also included watching old western movies and his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 20th at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 2458 Johnston County Rd. Angier, NC 27501. The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm on Thursday, September 19th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St. Angier, NC 27501.

Danny is survived by his daughters, Angela Hamilton and husband Tyler of Fuquay-Varina and Kelley Fish and husband Patrick of Raleigh; grandchildren, Peyton Hamilton of Fuquay-Varina and Avery Fish of Raleigh; step-grandchildren, Tori Marshall of Greenville, Hayden Fish, Hadleigh Fish, and Harrison Fish all of Raleigh; sister, Donna Barnes and husband Ronald of Coats.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Hilda Ann Carroll.
