Darlene A Barnard

Darlene A. Barnard, 74, passed away on April 30, 2024, in Garner, NC. A native of Waycross, GA, Darlene was born June 12, 1949, to the late Rev. Harold E. and Alice Allene Carter Aldridge. She was a loving mother and Grammie, who faithfully served and played piano at Garner Advent Christian Church for more than 40 years.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11AM, at Garner Advent Christian Church, 1120 Vandora Springs Road, Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, 1771 NC 50 S. Benson, NC 27504. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8PM.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Angie Jones and husband, Johnny; son, Jeremy Barnard and wife, Tina; grandchildren, Cody Jones, Susan Jones, Sydney Jones, Kayley Barnard, Tyler Barnard, and Dylan Barnard; sister, Sharon A. McGee; brother, Stephen E. Aldridge and wife, Annette.
