Darlene Michelle Burke

Knightdale- Darlene M. Burke, 30, passed away Dec. 10, 2012. Darlene worked as a clinical secretary for Wake Medical Center. She was also a graduate of Barton College. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday Dec. 13, 2012 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church from 12:30- 2:00 PM, prior to the service. Darlene is survived by her husband, Tommy Burke; her parents, Lois W. Evans and Byron Upchurch; twin-sister, Jessica Rae Upchurch; half-brother, Byron D. Upchurch, II; maternal grandparents, J.C. and Rachel Whitt; paternal grandmother, Peggy Upchurch; mother-in-law, Sharon Burke and other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who love her and will miss her.Flowers are appreciated or contributions may be made to Mt.
