David Joe Charles

ANGIER – David Joe Charles, 75, passed away at his home on Sunday. Born in Chattanooga ,TN, he was the son of the late Horace Foster Charles and Evelyn Akins Charles. David was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lucille C. “Candy” Charles; daughter, Mary Charles Babbitt and husband, Howard of Angier; grandchildren, Alex Babbitt and wife, Sara of Angier, Blake Babbitt and wife, Blair of Angier, Dominique Babbitt of Angier; one great-granddaughter, Catherine Charles “Charlie” Babbitt, and one great-grandchild on the way.

The family will be having a private service at a later date.
