David L. Tollefson

July 3, 1947 — November 6, 2023

FUQUAY-VARINA – David Leonard Tollefson, 76, passed away on Monday at Wake Medical Center in Cary. Born in Sun Valley, California, he was the son of the late Leonard Everett Tollefson and Helen Fobes Tollefson.


A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina.


The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.


David is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Tollefson; daughters, Lisa Westbrook and husband, Randy of Raleigh; Dara St. Amant of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Grant Van Deusen and wife, Summer of Angier, Faith, Luke, Nicholas, and David Van Deusen, all of Fuquay-Varina.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Tollefson; sister, Carol Henry; brothers, Gundy Tollefson and Mark Tollefson; and a grandson, Eric Westbrook.
