David Lee Roadman

ANGIER – David Roadman, 39, father of Adalynn Grace Roadman, passed away at his home on Friday, September 9, 2022.

In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his parents Lynn Rogers and David Roadman; grandmother, Lillian Roadman; sister, Tracy Roadman of Garner; brother, Andrew Roadman (Mattie) of Benson; nephews, Camden and Miller Roadman; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

David was a friend to many and was kind and compassionate to all that he met. He spent many years of his adult life being a primary caregiver to his grandparents, James and Sara Prince, who preceded him in death in 2013 and 2021. He loved Jesus and was a member of Amplify Church (formerly Raleigh First Church of the Nazarene). Being a father to his daughter, Adalynn, was his greatest joy and he was so proud to be her daddy. He loved his family and had a laugh as big as his heart.

A memorial service will be held on Monday September 12 at 4:00 PM at Amplify Church, Willow Spring. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 – 3:45 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor and memory of his beloved grandma.
