David Michael Chaulk, 59, of Garner, North Carolina, beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend, died peacefully at home May 1, 2023 after his long battle with cancer.
A true fighter, David was survived by his daughter, Ashley Chaulk, grandsons, Xander and Leon, brother, Paul Chaulk and family, sisters, Kathy Chaulk and Pamela Workman, nieces, Casey Taker, Dawn Chaulk, Amber Workman and family, nephew, Terry Workman and family, Jeremy Hill and family, Stephen Quinney, Joseph Chaulk, and Michael Chaulk, and Michael Workman, as well as his half sisters, Robyn and Janet Georgio.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Chaulk, father, Warren Chaulk, brother, Richard Chaulk, and sister, Pegi Chaulk.
David was loved by so many, as he was known for his love of golf, fishing, football, and racing. He never met a stranger and he loved his family and friends dearly.
His sense of humor and his great determination to live a life full of laughter and joy, as well as his stubbornness, was his ammunition to live the long journey he did. Like a true warrior, he faced every day taking the bull by its horns head on and didn’t miss a beat.
Thank you to all of his allies who stood beside him throughout his entire life’s journey, but more importantly through the past 5.5 years when he needed us the most. It was your endless support and outpouring of love that kept him fighting like the true warrior and Chaulk that he was.
