David Reed Wroughton

David Reed Wroughton, 61, went home to heaven on Monday. He was an amazingly gifted man of integrity who loved his family with his whole being. If he was your friend, you knew you could count on him in any situation. He was wise, kind, thoughtful, generous and loving. A memorial service will be held Friday Oct. 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the service. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 34 years, Marti Wroughton; daughter Danielle Donathan of Garner; sons Phillip Wroughton (Mandy) of Willow Springss and Ryan Wroughton (Katy) of Spring Hill, Fl. ; grandchildren, Haley Donathan, Tanner Wroughton, Jack Wroughton and Arielle Wroughton; sister Victorville, CA. , Paula Fitzpatrick (John); brothers, Patrick Wroughton (Sanda) of Clayton and extended family.He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Sylvia Smith Wroughton and brother, Phillip R. Wroughton.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to C3 Church Missions Program or Community Care Hospice.
