David Wayne Booth

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of David Wayne Booth of Apex, NC, on January 15, 2023, at the age of 63. Born in Raleigh, NC, on December 31, 1959, David spent his entire life in the Wake County area and was a wealth of knowledge about the local area and its history.

David was a loving husband to his wife, Dawn Booth, and a devoted son, brother, and friend. He had a soft heart and was always willing to help others. He was a lover of NASCAR, old westerns, and all animals, especially his sweet dog Maggie.

David was predeceased by his father, Bruce Webster Booth, and his grandparents, Bruce and Blanche Booth and Arnold and Catherine Creech. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Booth; stepsons, Ryan and Noah Clayton; his mother, Catherine Creech Booth; his sister, Diana Booth Littleton (Tom); his aunts, Anne Keyes (Tom), Jeanette Booth, Georgie Underwood, and Mary Holt, as well as numerous cousins.

David will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 20th at 2:30 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529, with a visitation starting at 1:30 PM. Burial will take place at Raleigh Memorial Park.
