Debra Sue Paugh

WILLOW SPRING - Debra Sue Paugh, 55, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 after a seven year battle with kidney cancer which she bravely fought with her strong will, incredible courage and amazing grace. Through this time, she taught us many lessons of love, perseverance, strength and faith. She was born September 21,1957 in Wheeling, WV to the late Joseph Campbell and Carol Hagan Campbell, where she grew up with her younger brother, the late Joseph Campbell Jr. Debbi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was graced with a beautiful, caring personality that touched the lives of many, She loved spending time with her family, traveling and dipping her toes in the ocean along the North Carolina beaches. Debbi is survived by her husband George Paugh; her daughters, Casie Purdy and husband, Tad of Beckley, WV, Suzi Tripp and husband, Billy of Garner, Jaimie Thompson and husband, Mat of Garner; and her grandchildren, Riley and Drew Purdy, and Braden Tripp.A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at St Mary, Mother of the Church Catholic Parish in Garner, NC. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road in Garner, NC.
