Della Louise Franks

GARNER- Della Louise Franks, 80, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2019 at Transitions Hospice Home in Raleigh. Louise was born on February 17, 1939 in Fayetteville, NC, and raised by the late Arthur and Ruth Glover of Raleigh. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Clarence L. Franks and her sister, Kathryn Glover Buffaloe. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie McKinney (Michael) of Garner; her two granddaughters, Daphne Andrews and Lyndi Peedin (Cameron); and her four great-grandchildren, Bryson Andrews, L.B. Andrews, Braylen Andrews, and Avalyn Peedin. God placed within Louise a heart of compassion for people and a desire for His Word. She was a woman of strong faith, and an intercessor through prayer for others in need. She touched so many lives with her love, generosity, and kind heart. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Victory Church, 2829 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603. The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Church.
