Delma H. “D. H.” Hamilton, 77, passed Saturday, May 16, 2020. A Native of Angier, he was born on May 21, 1942 to the late Ollie and Lovenia Hamilton. Delma was a family man and enjoyed every moment he got to spend with them. He was a saved Christian and the family is comforted in knowing that he is back with his lord and savior. D.H worked hard his entire life to provide a good life for his family and upon retirement, he did not slow down. He stayed busy working in his garden, doing yard work, and tinkering with anything that needed fixing. As a lifelong Master Mechanic, he was gifted with the ability to fix almost anything he put his hands on. He was always ready and willing to help someone out if they needed something and he will be missed by many people. The family will have a private graveside service at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Angier, NC. Delma is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Diane Bradley Hamilton; son, Bryan Hamilton and wife, Amy; son Michael Hamilton and son Daryl Hamilton. Grandchildren; Brynlee, Abby, Morgan and Bradley Hamilton and step-grandchildren Alyssa and Aidan Gupton ; brothers, Gerald Hamilton (Ann) and Jerry Hamilton (Julia) ; sister, Sherlyn Dennis (Mike) ; sister in law, Yvonne Preddy (Jimmy) ; sister in law, Sandy Ogburn and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Delma was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Seagroves, brother Jack Hamilton, brother Sherwood Hamilton and mother in law Edna Barbour Bradley.
