Dennis James Solt

FUQUAY-VARINA- In the early morning hours of February 4, 2023, Dennis James Solt, 72, of Fuquay Varina, NC, peacefully fell asleep in the arms of the Lord after a hard-fought two-year battle with lymphoma. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Jan; daughter, Laura (Ted Kameneka); son, Greg (Missy); grandson, Cooper; and beloved dog, Brownie. His family was the light of his life.

Dennis was born in Northampton, PA to Claude and Mary Solt, who predeceased him. He is also survived by his siblings, Henry (Joan), Larry, and Jane (Ronnie Avate).

The family is grateful for the care and medical expertise Dennis received from the doctors and nurses at Duke University Hospital throughout his journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Duke Cancer Institute or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in his name.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
