Dennis Johnson

Wilbur Dennis Johnson, 76, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior on Thursday.  He was born in Wake County to the late Ira and Margie Johnson.   He was employed for 16 years with Eatman Carpet Warehouse as a manager. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Johnson who passed away November 25, 2015; and by a granddaughter, Samantha Johnson. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Garner Advent Christian Church. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church prior to the service. He is survived by a daughter, Janet Woodard and husband, Deryle; two sons, Denny Johnson, II, Willie Johnson  and wife Tania; 5 grandchildren, Dustin and Derek Woodard, David, Mariah and Rachael Johnson; 3 great grandchildren, Daniel Woodard, Wyatt and Kyle Johnson.
