RALEIGH – Dennis Wayne Penny, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
He was born in Wake County on August 24, 1958. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, N.B. Penny, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Donnie Jean Yates; sister, Judy Penny McLamb and husband, Bruce; nephew, Brian McLamb and his children, Nathan, Elizabeth, and Chloe; and by his niece, Kim Crosby and husband, Blake, and their daughter, Haley.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 Noon at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’ memory to a charity of your choice.
