ANGIER – Diane Baker, 67, passed away Tuesday at Rex Hospital in Holly Springs. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of Margie Messer Baker and the late Rayford Baker.


A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.


In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by her sisters, Darlene Cole of Angier, Denise Wiand (Bob) of Libertytown, MD, Delane Champion (Robbie) of Lillington, and Clare Baker of Raleigh; nieces and nephews, Dexter Cole (Nicole) of Raleigh, Jenny Hamilton of Hagerstown, MD, Amanda Miss (Gregory) of Danville, VA, Kendra Wiand of Frederick, MD, and Tanner Champion of Lillington; eleven special great-nieces and great-nephews; and special family member, Kimberly Holder (Elijah) of Clayton.
