Diane Marie Kraemer, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, John Francis Kraemer, her son Jonathan Christian Kraemer, and daughter-in-law Ashley Kraemer, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Tadewsz Nowakowski and Catherine Ann Gladsky, her sisters Shirley Kriaski and Linda Altvater, and her brother Ted Nowakowski. Diane is survived by her husband John Francis Kraemer, her son Jonathan Christian Kraemer, her daughter-in-law Ashley Kraemer, and grandchildren Jacob and Olivia. She is also survived by her sisters Vada Dolphin, Kathleen Cranford, Kathy Chance and their children, nieces Julie Wolf, and Amber and Sommer Altvater and their children.
Diane loved the fine arts. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in photography from the University of New Mexico. She was active as a photographer, and loved quilting. She also loved attending concerts of the North Carolina Symphony at Meymandi Concert Hall.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Raleigh. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Raleigh. Burial will follow in Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh.
