Dianna Lyn-Michele Lomas Borgus

Dianna Lyn-Michele (Lomas) Borgus, 40, mother of Morgan Faye Borgus, passed away peacefully in her home in Wendell, NC with her loving family on Friday, May 24, 2019. Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, daughter of Doris Katherine (Smith) Jurkiewicz and Dean Edward Lomas, Dianna was raised in Michigan, joined the Navy and ultimately moved to North Carolina in 2004 to raise her daughter Morgan in community with her mother, step-father Gary Jurkiewicz, sisters Donna (Lomas) Laiosa, Deborah (Lomas) Hayes, Erin (Jurkiewicz) Friedline and Diana Jurkiewicz. As a legacy to a life that was cut too short, Dianna will be remembered every time we encounter a person with a huge and loving heart, every time we hear a full and genuine laugh that fills a room and every time we are enveloped in the feeling of love, kindness, and compassion. In addition to her brother-in-laws Jeff Laiosa, Jeff Hayes, and Daniel Friedline, her nieces and nephews, Charles Evelyn Laiosa, Remy Grant Hayes, and Benjamin Aubrey Friedline, Dianna is survived by an abundance of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh, NC on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society of North Carolina in Dianna’s memory.
