Dixie Lee Williams Jackson

GARNER - Dixie Lee Williams Jackson, 54, of the Panther Branch Community, died Wednesday after a brief battle with Cancer. A native of Garner, she was the daughter of Mary Lee Williams and the late Haywood Hales Williams. She was a 1975 graduate of Garner High School and was employed with A.E. Finley & Associates for 18 years. Dixie was an animal lover and volunteered with the SPCA in Garner. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Garner. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Hildon Jack Jackson; mother, Mary Lee Williams; brother, Denny Williams and wife, Sherri and niece, Haley and nephew, Kyle, all of Garner. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
