Donald Thomas Woodlief

Donald Thomas Woodlief, 77, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Lester and Thelma Thomas Woodlief. Loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was happiest when sharing time with his cherished family and friends. His love of the ocean, fishing, or watching the sunset on his dock, were among only a few of Don’s favorite moments. He was a true blessing to all he touched with his positive attitude and energetic spirit . A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 at a private service in Raleigh, NC. Don is survived by his wife, Shanna; children, Jeff Woodlief and wife, Kim, Scott Woodlief and wife, Trina, Brittany Fink Thompson and husband, Jay, and Tyler Fink; daughter in law, Kim Woodlief; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother, Jimmy Woodlief; and a sister, Kay Jackson and husband, Glen, and his beloved dog Winnie. Along with his parents, Don was predeceased by his son, Mark Woodlief and his brother, Edward Woodlief .
