Donnie Ivey Stone

GARNER – Donnie Ivey Stone, 70, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her home of natural causes. Donnie was born on June 11, 1948 in Wake County to the late James Thaddeus and Flora Hazel Bond Ivey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Stone. This mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend was loved by many and touched every heart she came to know. Donnie’s memory will be forever cherished by her sons, Richard Sexton of the home, Derek Stone and wife, Tracy of Garner; step-daughters, Ann Holmes and husband, Carl of Yanceyville, Bonnie Glover and husband, Ricky of Garner; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 2:00-3:30 pm at the home of Derek and Tracy Stone: 145 Berringer Ln., Garner, NC 27529.
