Dora F. Lee

GARNER – Dora Fulghum Lee, 83, of Garner went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She was an employee of Eldercare Convalescent Service and a member of the Cary Church of God. She spent her life caring for others and her devotion to family, unwavering faith and service to others will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel in Garner with burial following at Raleigh Memorial Park. Surviving: son George Stephen ‘Steve’ Lee and fiancée, Toni Speakman of Clayton; son Bobby E.  Lee and wife Elaine of Cary; and daughter-in-law, Sue Lee of Garner. She was blessed to have and so loved her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Grandchildren: David Lee, Chrystal Lee, Stephanie Boggs, Brian Parrott, Justin Parrott, Shannon Holland, Courtney Maynard, Daniel Lee, Michael Lee, Matthew Lee and Morgan Koch. Great Grandchildren: Hannah Boggs, Sarah Boggs, Noah Parrott, Ella Parrott, Luke Parrott, Elijah Parrott, Jacob Parrott, Caleb Parrott, Presley Holland, Chloe Holland, Nathan Holland, Austin Davis, Jay’den Moses, Christopher “D.J.” Moses, Solomon Lee, Silas Lee and Everette Lee Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, George Vastus Lee; son, Joseph I. Lee; daughter, Sharon L. Maynard; daughter-in-law, Shirley Lee; parents, Luby and Margaret Fulghum; and five sisters: Mary Watson, Naomi Allen, Earlene Hinson, Ann Morris, and Margie Letchworth. The family will receive relatives and friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC. The family would like to thank the staff at the Laurels of Forest Glenn nursing home in Garner and Transitions LifeCare Hospice in Raleigh.
