Doris Jean Walker

Doris “Jean” Walker, 84, of Willow-Spring, peacefully passed away surrounded by her immediate family early Saturday morning, July 2, 2022, at her home. Jean Walker, a native of Wake County, was born on February 6, 1938, to the late Wayland T. Fish and Reba A. Fish. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, James Earl Walker, and her younger brother, Wayland “Stanley” Fish. She is survived by her brother James Fish, sister Rena Goodwin and husband Calvin, sister-in-laws Debra Stewart and Vernell Walker, special nephew Matthew Fish and fiancé Michaela, special niece and great-niece Hollie and Adeline Vanderlei, nephews and nieces Rheth Fish, Todd Walker, Steve Walker, Troy Walker, Tina Seagroves, Sherry Edmunds, and Scarlett Painter. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, July 07, 2022, in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Pastor Dave Cloer of Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate the funeral service, and the burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
