Dorothy Dot Woodruff, 76, passed away Nov. 9, 2014. Dot was a very talented person. Dot drove a bus for Wake County Schools for several years. She worked as a teacher, was a very loving homemaker, a nursing assistant in a nursing home, a gymnastics instructor, a master light technician, and an interior decorator. She loved working in her garden and doing landscape work. She was a friend to all and a confidant. She was a loving, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Dot was preceded in death by a daughter; Angela Woodruff and a son, Rodrick Woodruff. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harold Woodruff; sons, Harold Jr., Charles and Joseph Woodruff; sisters, Dixie King and husband David and Bonnie Wells and husband Ted; brothers, Charles Osburn and wife Jeannie, Pat Osburn and wife Ann and John Osburn and wife Kathy; and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday Nov. 12, 2014 from 3 - 5 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
