Dorothy Dotty Jones

Dotty passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the age of 70 surrounded by her family at Rex Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Dotty grew up in Raleigh near Meredith College in the Ridgewood neighborhood area and graduated from Needham B. Broughton High School in 1963. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Evelyn and Dennis Falter, Sr. Dotty is survived by her daughters, Angela Lawrence, Teresa Massey (Dan) and son Frank, II, grandchildren Heather Lawrence, Allison and Jacob Massey, Frank, III, Jonathan and Barrett Jones and great granddaughter Ashlynn Jones. Her Sisters, Diane Hurst, Patricia Falter, and Brother, Dennis Falter, Jr. (Doris) and several Nieces and Nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 between 6pm and 8pm followed by a Memorial service on Saturday April 12, 2012 at 2pm, both at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home on Wake Forest Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life of Northern Wake, 8300 Healthpark Drive, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615. Special thanks to the staff at the Cancer Center of North Carolina and Rex Hospital for the excellent and loving care they provided Dotty during her illness.
