Dorothy Poole OrrellFebruary 26, 1930 - September 11, 2012Raleigh - Dorothy Jean Orrell, 82, of Raleigh, NC died September 11, 2012, after an extended stay at Raleigh Duke Hospital.She is predeceased by her father, Marvin Poole, her mother, Florence Morton and her brother, James A. Poole.She graduated from Hugh Morson High School and was a bookkeeper.She was an active member of the Raleigh B.P.O. Does.She was past president for 3 years, treasurer for five years, and Doe of the year in 1968.She is survived by her husband, George W. Orrell, her brother, Clarence Poole, sisters, Betty L. Odham, and D. Ann Poole.Sheloved her 3 grandchildren, Lee, Timothy, and Ashley; and her great granddaughters, Jalee and Jaiden.She was loved by many dear friends.Visitation will be at 10:00 am and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road.
